More and more, clothing and accessories brands are offering more eco-responsible product ranges ... much to everyone's delight. Although it may not be your # 1 criteria, you can do your part by buying a bag made from bottles or a vegan coat. Today I've decided to show you 100% vegan looks, with some useful tips on colors :)

If you're are a fan of vegan looks, I invite you to read Yes to local designers and Vegan!

Recently mentioned on our Facebook and Instagram pages, the bag DEELY from the latest MATT & NAT collection,  is sure to have you excited! I'm in love with its original shape, color selection and its not-too-small-not-too-big format. For this look, I chose it in the frappé color, a brown-beige that goes with everything and is easy to match with all your jackets and even all your summer clothes. For those who want the whole look, I matched it here with the LESLIEVILLE jacket of POINT ZERO in scarlet. It's a lightweight, comfortable and compressible jacket (it comes with a small travel pouch that can be used as a travel pillow). Oh and also vegan ;) I love the result of these two colors together!

If you're a fan of MATT & NAT, you've surely come across the BRAVE, the most popular backpack of the brand. It comes in several colors and textures and offers plenty of space! I chose it in the stone color from the loom collection with a lustrous finish. The details and zippers are in a delicate rose-gold, which contrasts well with the color of the bag. I matched it again with the LESLIEVILLE jacket, but this time in the ginger color, which harmonizes well with the pink details of the bag.

The final vegan look that I have to offer is more for those who like to follow trends and are not afraid to stand-out! This jacket from POINT ZERO in the Silver-Metallic is one of my favorites! I didn't expect to like the aluminum look, but it's really out of the ordinary and it's ultra bright! And being extra daring, I matched it with the BRAVE bag from the dwell collection in the new spring dusk color - a pale blue that makes us dream of the summer sun! The mix of both is exciting and beautiful!

There you go,  my 3 looks inspired by vegan and eco-friendly product lines. It's great to have more and more  quality choices!

  • How to make the most out of your new Spring jacket How to make the most out of your new Spring jacket

    Posted on by Dom Girard

The arrival of Spring is often a euphoric moment; the mercury rises, the sun shines as never before and the sidewalks are finally clean! We want to make the most of every moment, but finding the right jacket to wear can be a nightmare! Because yes it's exciting when things warm up... but there is a long "in between" moment where it's too hot for your winter jacket, but too cold for your favorite jean vest. So I thought I'd make a spring version of my blog One dress, two ways and present you two jackets with two ways to wear them  :)

For the first coat I chose the Arabella from Soïa & Kyo. It's a nylon coat with a large hood and a (removable) belt. It's not lined, but with a good fleece vest underneath, it's possible to wear it when it's cooler (and by cooler, I still mean above zero!) Also, the belt helps to prevent the wind entering from underneath.

    Beanie : Caddie by Soïa&Kyo - Scarf : Miri by Soïa&Kyo - Bag : Palmview by Rudsak

The first outfit is for colder weather. I chose accessories of lighter color cause, yay, it's spring! we want light!! If it's not yet warm enough, you could even opt for a fur jacket to put on top, like the Rudsak Malverne. It's fashionable and oh so cosy!

    Scarf : Daisie by Soïa&Kyo - Bag : Minka by Matt&Nat

The second look with the Arabella is much lighter. The coat can easily be worn open, either without the belt or tied in the back. It really is an everyday look, super easy to wear for work, school or heading to the grocery store! I love the touch of color that the Matt & Nat handbag adds! I could've opted for the powder blue bag or the mint one... all fun choices that add a little punch to your look!

The second coat I chose is a Point Zero reversible jacket (yes, loving the reversible !!). That's what attracted me to it. To have a springy floral jacket, but to also have a more classic option in the same jacket ... I love it!

    Jacket : 8818505 by Point Zero - Scarf : luw0448 by LOLË Bag : Baxter by Matt&Nat

Again, the first outfit is more cosy and warm, with the massive Lolë infinity scarf; truly the most comfortable scarf! (I could also have completed the look with assorted mittens and beanie). I opted for a big tote bag, perfect for slipping your mittens into when the day gets warmer ;)

Same coat, but as if by magic, we change it up. We end up with a super summer jacket with pretty flowers (not too flashy). I have arranged it with one of my favorites this season, Matt & Nat's small Koala Mumbai backpack, and some light and sparkly jewels to put a spring into your step :)

I'm totally a fan of multifunctional /multiseason items. Not only will you get a lot of value out of an item, but you've got less chance of getting bored of it!

And over to you, what is your favorite spring basic?
