Choosing a winter coat is not always easy. There are several factors to consider : style, color, quality... but also the price! Finding a good quality coat with maximum warmth is important, but so is finding that special coat, that is also within your budget. Here are 4 coats that could be exactly what you've been looking for.

We love talking about the brand Sicily. Their styles are super trendy with luxurious fabrics and offer a slimming silhouette... at a great price! One of their latest coats to hit the shelves and streets this season (and one of my personal favorites) is the Mt-Royal. This matte coat (available in marine, khaki and black) is tested up to -37 degrees. As I always say, colder than that and you should stay inside!! Everything is in the details : a two-way zipper, a large lined hood, front lined-pockets with a zipper, and an adjustable, removable belt... it really has everything going for it! And all of this for $380!

In the same style, SOIA & KYO offers this magnificent down coat. The TALLIA is insulated with 90% down and 10% feathers with a fill-power of 700, which is excellent! It also offers a large insulated hood, an elastic, removable belt, a double zipper, available in black or a beautiful bright light grey. The price? $495, for a coat as warm and beautiful as this one, that's awesome and it'll last a long time!

Lolë is the ideal brand for active women. The cuts are made accordingly, making for a lightweight and breathable coat. The KATIE is one of the warmest of lole's latest collection. It's knee-length, keeping you well protected and is water-repellent and windproof.  We also love that the faux-fur is removable and so is the entire hood, allowing you to create several different styles and adapt it to your needs. Insulated with eco-responsible down and a fill power of 600+, we love it! And for only $460.

I have already talked about the 4045g from Novelti (in a blog where I introduced the brand) and my love for this coat has not changed. It is perfect for Canadian winters. It's not fur-lined, but its adjustable hood is deep and stays in place with or without a scarf. The collar is high enough to allow you to wear a thin scarf directly around your neck.  Its insulation of down/feathers along with it knee-length length (a little longer at the back) provides a great protection from the elements. The front pockets are polar-lined, warm and super comfortable! A steal at $350.
