  A coat for every figure

  We are thousands of women in Quebec, and what is truly wonderful is that none of us are built the same way. The diversity of body shapes is great, but it can become problematic when it comes to shopping. Especially when shopping for a winter coat, as it's an investment you don't want to regret! I've reviewed our best sellers and picked out three models that suit the three most common body types we encounter in our boutiques.

  The Hourglass

  Do you have a very small waist? Don't be afraid to show it off! We suggest opting for a belted coat that will emphasize your small waist. Also, avoid "boxy" cuts as they will hide your best asset. The Gloria coat by Rudsak is an excellent choice for you!

  
  
  

   

   

  Pear

  You have a pear (or A-shaped) figure if you have strong hips and thighs, but not broad shoulders. We advise you to choose a coat with a lot of details at the top (from the waist up), such as a large fur collar, leather details on the shoulders, an imposing hood, chest pockets, etc. The Contessa from Ookpik World is a good example; very few details at the bottom and a large fur collar to balance your silhouette. Plus, since it falls just above the knee, it doesn't cut your figure in half and will flatter you even more!

   

   The Inverted Triangle

  This is more or less the inverse of the pear; you have broad shoulders but narrow hips. You need to trick the eye by wearing a coat with more details at the bottom. For example, the Caney from Rudsak would be an excellent choice with its large square pockets at the front. Coats with imposing collars or overloaded shoulder details are to be avoided.
